User’s profile /Use case • I am an astronomy student, I have data to organize and analyse • Library, applications, database support • We are a team of astronomers and have to manage our observational data • Build a private database, manage processing/analysis pipelines • We are data/service provider and want to publish in the VO • Build a VO-compliant database • I am VO expert and want to experiment with the tools and standards • Join the development team

Capabilities and features of Pleinpot • A package (or meta-package) bringing several utilities and libraries on the platform with simplified installation procedure. • A C-based library with modules for data analysis, data management and publication • API in C, Fortran, Python, PHP, SQL (Java & Perl) to develop applications, in particular web access to the data • Suite of applications to manage and analyse data
