Facts • On Friday, January 11, Catalonian piantistChanoDomingue 2 Appeared at Drizzy’s Club Coco-Cola Accompained by drummer DafnisPrieto. • Selections from Dominguez’s critically acclaimed Blue Note CD Flamenco Sketches (2012) • The onslaught of compelling Latin Jazz concerts, club performances and recordings here in Ghothan. • Prieto’s drumming was a highlight throughout the set. • The Afro-Peruvian Sextet will appear at Zinc Baron February 21.

Facts • Unlike Jazz, the blues don’t spread out significantly from the South to the Midwest until the 1930’s and 40’s. • You lose your job, you get the blues. • Blues and Jazz have always influence each other • Chicago Blues- Delta Blues electrified • Cool Blues- A sophisicated piano- based form that owes much to jazz.
