Unit Questions: • Wheredo rainbows come from? • What makes a rainbow? • If I walk under the arch of a rainbow, will I come out on the other side? • Is there really a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? • Are the same colors in every rainbow?
Objectives: • The students will identify the colors of the rainbow. • The students will observe and record changes in weather. • The students will be able to recognize where rainbows come from. • The students will be able to demonstrate where a rainbow comes from.
Assessment: • The students will make a class rainbow,including the colors of the rainbow andthe two sources that influence the makingof a rainbow. The colors of the rainbowneed to be in the correct order. Thestudents must use their imagination andwork as a group.
