Why teach language using video • It is Interesting • There are non-linguistic reference or help for students to comprehend a language • It provides visual stimuli that may lead to or generates, prediction, bring up background knowledge, and thus may give better guidance for meaning understanding • It is very often authentic; therefore, it gives perfect modeling of the use of language.
