  2. Location. • It is situated in Africa. This country is located near the Gulf of Benin. It has an elongated shape.

  3. The government and capital. • The President of Togo is For Gnassingbe. He began to rule the country after the death of his father (Gnassingbe Eiadema). Lomer is the capital of Togo.

  4. Population and area. • The population of the country is about 5200000 of people. The territory is about 56000km2. The official language is French.

  5. Religion. • 50% - Gentiles, 35% - Christians 15% -Muslims.

  6. Flag and emblem. • «Travail, liberte, patrie» - is written on the blazon of the country . It means work, liberty andfatherland. (труд, свобода, отечество)

  7. Money. Франк КФА. The official currency is called frank KFA.
