Moreover, the photographs of the artist are conventional as they reinforce the genre rap for example, costumes and props (hoddy). Same house style - Which attracts the audience as it is constant and is a convention in most CD covers. How effective is the combination of your products and ancillary text? Conventional idea – Where the audience can buy the track e.g. ‘Itunes’ Front Cover House style – Bold and white which is very eye catching which encourages the audience to buy the CD. The fact that the audience can see the CD cover encourages them to buy the product . Also the release date is represented which also attracts the audience to buy the productt. Inside Booklet Conventions used: Lyrics of the track Producers name Credits Name of artist Location – image of London bridge behind the lyrics Record company – ‘KINGS RECORD’ Name of album ‘MORETHANMUSIC’ Perental advisory logo – illustrate that the tracks has explicit content such as swearing. In addition, the target audience are more likely to use explicit language therefore will enjoy listening to the tracks.
