  1. Random Slides From This PowerPoint Show I’ve heard that St Lucia actually has more rain than we do in Britain! I’ve heard St Lucia is a tropical island where the sun shines all the time. SAMPLE SLIDE Which is true?

  2. We knew we were arriving in the rainy season, so we weren’t surprised to have down pours everyday. But we found quite a few other tourists who hadn’t realised that the ‘summer’ weather in St Lucia isn’t just going to be a warmer version of the summer we have at home. We didn’t mind all the rain but they weren’t very happy! SAMPLE SLIDE Random Slides From This PowerPoint Show

  3. All the heavy rain and hot temperatures makes everywhere feel hot, humid and sticky. SAMPLE SLIDE Random Slides From This PowerPoint Show Normally the temperature on St Lucia is between 26°C to 32 °C all year round.

  4. This year we are more than likely to be hit by a bad hurricane so its time to clean and clear all drains around your homes. Trim all trees that are close to your house and secure all objects that may come loose. Make sure you have an evacuation plan; keep extra groceries on hand at all times, remember the young and elderly and help them with food and medicines, check they are OK. Take these warnings seriously. Usually the people are kept informed of what’s happening by radio stations that give out warnings and tell people what to do and how to help each other.
