PRODUCT OVERVIEW • Resell DSL service is a pure Wholesale service wherein Wholesale customers purchases, re-brand and on-sell to the end-customers. • OLO’s typically bundle the service with their own Value Added Services to provide diverse products to the market. • This service requires an existing POTS service to be installed at the customer premises. • Sold as a Self-Install Option • It is OLO’s responsibility to set-up, configure and install the modem at the end-customers’ premises. • Wholesale Installation/Technician call-out fee
PRODUCT OVERVIEW (cont.) • Current Resell DSL offerings consist of: • Up to 2048 Kbps; • Up to 4096 Kbps; • Up to 10 240 Kbps; • Up to 20 Mbps; and • Up to 40 Mbps • DSL Access subscribers are aggregated through the IP Connect product offering to the OLO’s network to enable OLO’s to offer differentiated broadband solutions to these subscribers. • Availability : • Readily available in all DSL enabled exchanges within South Africa, • However Up to 20Mbps and Up to 40Mbps services are dependent on current MSAN rollout and footprint. (existing MSAN’s completed for on-selling – 367) • The Up to 20Mbps and Up to 40Mbps is offered on VDSL technology
PRODUCT OVERVIEW (cont.) • Service Level Agreement: • Resell DSL is offered as a best effort service with no SLA’s attached • No volume or term discounts for Resell DSL services • Enhancement: • Up to 100 Meg Resell DSL product offering • Last mile access: Fibre • Pilot phase will commence as from 17th March 2014 – for 3 months • “Up to 100 Mbps” Resell DSL offering is reliant on the Fibre Line Rental (POTS)

Product Overview • South African Internet eXchange (SAIX) provides Wholesale Internet access through an Internet Protocol (IP) network • SAIX Dedicated Access provides raw Internet connectivity to Wholesale Customers • The service is used to access and transfer Internet traffic using stable bandwidth on the World-Wide Web, to and from users with different communications devices. • Wholesale customers purchase Dedicated Access from Telkom and then sells internet packages to end users • Service Level Agreement: • SAIX is offered as a best effort service with no SLA’s • Volume and Term discounts apply (1 yr contract – 5 yr contract)
Product Overview • SAIX Dedicated access offerings: • SAIX National / International 75/25 (Gold) (1:1) – burstable to full capacity subject to network conditions. The 75 / 25 indicates minimum allocations and not guaranteed. • SAIX National / International 75 /25 (Silver) (shared 1:4) – The 25% International is capped and shared between 4 customers. Local is not shared and is burstable to full capacity. No guarantees on International. • International IP Transit (100% international throughput) – No guarantees on the Local or International portions. Service is still sold as best effort even though the allocation on International is 100%. • National Plus (Local) – Provides Access to all SAIX Local content and content on peering partners networks
PRICING METHODOLOGY • SAIX Dedicated access is sold as a Port and an Access combined. • The Access can be: • Diginet, ME, NG-SDH • The Access portion triggers an Installation Charge • In the case of ME, NG-SDH: Possible Customer Specific Solution (CSS) charges which could vary according to the specific solution/s. • No CSS charge wrt ME if the customer’s premise is less than 5 Km away from the ME enabled exchange
PRICING METHODOLOGY • SAIX Dedicated Access terminates onto a SAIX Router port • The port configuration triggers a Configuration Charge • Dedicated Access is positioned to recover half of the IP cloud cost as shown in the diagram • Once-off charges • ME Installation as per ME installation charge • Configuration • Monthly rental • Varies according to bandwidth & term
