Software Approach • Software refers to the application of teaching learning principles to the direct and delibrately shaping of behaviour • Both software and hardware approaches are complementary to eachother • Uses- principle of psychology for behaviour modification • It tries to develop all the 3 basuccompenents of technology .i.e input, process and output
Principles • The software makes use of physical,social science, behavioural science principles in education • The reinforecement and feedback are used in it

Limitation • The constructive technologies are used mainly for realising cognitive objectives but affective objectives can be realized
