Staff ID and Permission Basics • Acquisitions staff may be restricted to specific Sublibraries or Order Units • OWN Code security – For MARC Records • CAT level Security – For MARC Records • CIRC Level Security – Ability to override system blocks
User Permission Structure • Involves 4 Oracle Tables • Z66 – User Information, including “name” and “password”. • Z67 – Access Rights, the various defined functions and “Deny” or “Allow” flags. • Allowed Budgets – Z62 • Allowed Sublibraries/Order Units – Z602
