  2. SGADFR Duty Statement • Provide advice in support of JHC Health Support capability outcomes from a Reserve perspective • Work with CJHLTH to achieve a fully integrated Permanent and Reserve Health workforce to support ADF capability in Australia and on deployment

  3. SGADFR Duty Statement • Provide Reserve input to Joint Health Policy and Plans as required • Promote the interests of the Tri-Service Reserve Health community through: • Membership of the Joint Reserve Working Group • Certification of Reserve Employer Support Payments

  4. SGADFR Duty Statement • Set policy direction for the Regional Health Advisory Groups and Specialist Health Advisory Panels in consultation with CJHLTH • Undertake the role of Patron of the Australian Military Medicine Association

  5. SGADFR Duty Statement • Represent the ADF on all Reserve Health issues • Represent CJHLTH as required

  7. Regional Health Advisory Groups • Development of an interoperability culture between Permanent and Reserve Force members • Information exchange / networking /enhancing morale • Education / continuing professional development

  8. Regional Health Advisory Groups • Assistance with identification of members augmenting JHC garrison units as required in both clinical roles and other health related tasks (specialist advice / clinical reviews / clinical governance roles)

  9. Regional Health Advisory Groups • Conduct of an annual educational conference • Single service recruiting assistance • Undergraduate health service officer support • Career progression

  10. Regional Health Advisory Groups • Coordination with Clinical Directors /Professional Liaison Officers • Communicating regional issues of concern through the relevant chain of command

  11. Regional Health Advisory Groups Composition: Regional Health Director Regional Reserve Health Directors (Old Triumvirate)

  12. Regional Health Advisory Groups Support: Reserve Staff Officers and Regional Health Director Staff Office support from RHD Financial support - budget bids

  13. Specialist Health Advisors Health Advisors in each of: Surgery Orthopaedics Anaesthesia / ICU Emergency Medicine / AME

  14. Specialist Health Advisors Specialist Advisors in other existing Consultative Groups as determined by support and advice required to JHC Reporting to both SGADFR and CJHLTH

  15. ADF Health • Financially unsustainable as an independent journal • Reserve and Permanent Force members encouraged to contribute articles to Journal of Military and Veterans Health

  16. Invitations No surprises please! • Advanced notification to SGADFR for consideration by CJHLTH / VCDF • Realistic level of invitee relating to individual conference / event

  17. Medals Reserve day requirement: Army - 14 Navy - 1 Air Force SR - 7 AR - 32
