Comparative Adjectives • One syllable: add –er and –est long, longer, longest • Two syllables ending in y: Add –ier and –iest happy, happier, happiest • Two or more syllables: use “more” and “most”amazing, more amazing, most amazing
Exceptions! • Good, better, best • Bad, worse, worst • Fun, more fun, most fun (NOT funner, funnest)
