  3. Irish Immigrants • When the Irish came to the United states they brought us St. Patrick’s Day. Irish were instrumental in the labor union movement. • Many Irish immigrated to the USA because of the Potato Famine.   4. Chinese immigrants • Not all Chinese Immigrants came into the United States until 1848 and they got a nick name from California called Gold Mountain.
