  1. Gymnasium of Kaunas University of Technology

  2. Gymnasium of Kaunas University of Technology is in the centre of Kaunas, in Kaunas University of Technology Campus. That is not strange, because it helped to found our Gymnasium in 1989. At that time KTUG was called KPI experimental school.

  3. Our Gymnasium has about 300 students (11 forms) andthe atmosphere here is exceptionally pleasant.

  4. Gymnasium attracts students from all Lithuania as this is the place where you can find the best education. Students that arrive from other cities live in dormitory. Every year an entrance contest takes place, but only 90 students come out of 300.

  5. We have about 35 teachers and academics from KTU nearby. We are proud of our Gymnasium headmaster Bronislovas Burgis who is the leader for many of us.

  6. We are proud of our students who take an active part in republican and international tournaments of knowledge (Olympiads). Mathematicians, informatics, chemists, economists, medics and physicists resound KTUG all over the world.

  8. Prizewinner Vladimiras Oleinikovas:• Gold in European Union Olympiad of science.• Bronze in International Olympiad of chemistry.• Contestant in Chemistry Olympiad of Baltic countries.

  9. After lessons are over, we play table tennis, dance lindy hop, act, play the guitar, sing and find other activities.

  10. KTU gymnasium has a lot of traditions - we have many events like the Gymnasium Basketball League, the Gymnasium Football League, and evenings of guitars or movies, karaoke, Christmas afternoon, carnival. On September quite all students go on the hike. All learners take an active part in the organization of these events.
