  2. Captain Smith drove the biggest ship in the whole world- the Titanic. This project will tell you all about Captain Smith.

  3. Captain Smith drove ships for the White Star Line for forty years.

  4. He was going to RETIRE after he sailed Titanic on its first VOYAGE.

  5. Rich people liked to travel on his ships so he was called the millionaires Captain.

  6. When the Titanic crew heard the ice warning, Captain Smith should have slowed downbut he was still going fast.

  7. After Titanic hit the iceberg Captain Smith and Thomas Andrews rushed below decks. Thomas Andrews said the Titanic would sink in less then two hours. Captain Smith went to the wireless office to call for help. Captain Smith hoped there would be a rescue before the Titanic sank.

  8. Captain Smith told the men in the wire less office that the situation was hopeless. Captain Smith went down with the ship.
