Flowers are very beautiful, but it takes many parts to make such a beautiful creation. Let’s take a look at the different parts of the flower.
Petals The attractive, colorful and sweetly scented part of the flower. Attracts the bees, birds & butterflies to pollinate.
Pollen The orange dusty substance located at the top of the stamens
Pistil The female part of the flower. The large center stalk with a sticky top. Used during reproduction
Sepal The leafy housing of the flowers. Used during reproduction.
Ovary An oval shaped structure where the ovules are produced. Part of the pistil
Ovule Small circular structures which later turn into seeds after fertilized by pollen.
Seeds Seeds are formed inside the ovary and used to create new plants.
