  1. Z' -> ττ -> τhτh status: NitishDhingra (Panjab University) • Study with collsion data 36 pb-1 collected in year 2010 was finalized. • The number of observed events consistent with the SM background process. • Results from double hadronic tau channel combined with other decay channels i.e. μτh, eτh, eμallowed us to set an upper limit on the production cross-section*branching ratio to tau pair. • Ditau resonances with mass < 468 GeV/c2 are excluded at 95 % CL. • Results with 2010 collsion data were approved. To be presented in Lepton-Photon conf. • Analysis Note: CMS NOTE AN-11-007 • PAS : CMS-PAS -EXO-10-022

  2. Work in progress/Future Plans • Next iteration of the analysis with 2011 data is currently in progress. • A first look gave consistent results as that of 2010 collision data. • Hope to accomplish this iteration with in a time scale of one month. • Preliminary study of SUSY neutral Higgs bosons, Φ -> ττ -> τhτhanalysis has been started already. • Estimation of “double tau trigger” efficiency with the new data in progress.
