  2. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Cut a strip of leather 2 1/2” wide and the length of the largest calf circumference + 2 1/2” 2 1/2” Largest Calf Circumference + 2 1/2”

  3. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Cut out pearl/cream cow strip as long as cuff and about 2” wider • Make sure that stretch runs along length Cuff length STRETCH Cuff width + 2”

  4. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Glue back of cuff as well as cowhide

  5. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Stretch cowhide lengthwise

  6. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Turn leather strip over, center, and adhere to cowhide strip

  7. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Measure in 2 1/2 “ from each end and mark top & bottom edges of cuff • Cut cowhide at 45° angles as shown • Glue edges of leather strip within cut lines 2 ½” 2 ½”

  8. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Fold and glue down cowhide over edges of cuff • Sew around perimeter of cuff, 3/16” from edges

  9. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Trim away cowhide around perimeter of cuff • Trim folded-over cowhide 1/8” from stitching • Miter corners of cuff slightly

  10. Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff • Your cuff is now ready to attach to the calf band
