  5. Athletics at PHS • Physicals need to be completed after May 1 in order to be valid for the upcoming school year. • Summer Weights and Conditioning - $60 • Summer activities for Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country

KSHSAA Rule • Students must pass at least FIVE classes in the previous semester in order to participate in extracurricular activities • Students must be enrolled in FIVE new classes each semester of participation • PHS Eligibility Rules • Grade reports are run each week • Students must be passing ALL classes in order to attend or participate in extracurricular activities.   17. Choose Regular vs. Honors Courses Carefully • Check requirements for applying for Honors courses. MAP scores are strictly adhered to. • Choose Elective Courses Carefully • Read course descriptions carefully. • Be careful to note any required prerequisites for elective courses. • Again, choose wisely.
