Symbol is using an object or action that means something more than its literal meaning.A motif in literature is a recurrent image, idea, topic, color, object, or symbol used to enhance the story as a whole.Theme is the universal idea or message of the work. It is a thought or idea the author presents to the reader. Usually, readers have to figure out the theme of a specific work as they read it.
