  2. A machine that has undergone a renovation in its design needs to be installed with a hose which will conduct fluid from one point to another through the entire system. If there is a need for replacement of the hose with a Parker Hydraulic Hose or even getting a fresh new one is what you want, then you will need to choose hose that has proper qualities like pressure, rating, length, diameter and of course it should be made of a good material. Consider the following factors which will help you to choose the correct hose.

  3. 1. Pressure rating of the hose system- A hose with a maximum pressure rating or working pressure should be chosen always. The momentary pressure of a hydraulic machine or system should not go beyond the rating of the pressure that is chosen. The burst pressure of a hose is already a built-in factor. Any kind of leakage or hose getting loose while it is still fitted to the system or the fitting may result in a burst failure. But the burst pressure rate of a hose is usually four times the actual pressure rating of the hose.

  4. 2. Diameter of the hose- It is essential to select a hose that has proper measure of the diameter that covers the inner lining of the hose. This excessive linear velocity will result in a lot of friction and that shall give rise to a lot of unsteady movement within. These two together then will again cause an increase in the pressure of the complete system. It shall also help in increasing the heat. So, it is better to select a hose with a larger inside diameter which will lessen friction or turbulence.

  5. 3. Length of the hose- A hose having the correct length will allow more bending and it will be flexible too when the machine moves. This is necessary, so as to be sure that there shall be no stress or undue friction that may result while the fittings are done. The strong and flexible hose connecting a way that may lead to another way may shrink in length. You must allow extra length of the sturdy hose length while making hose assembly. But do remember that if the length of the hose is too long, it will restrict the flow which will increase the pressure in the system and reduce its efficiency.
