  1. Plane (Datum Plane Tool) Using a surface as reference to create a plane Using an edge/axis as reference to create a plane Using a point as reference to create a plane Using an arced surface/surfaces to create a plane

  2. Using a surface as a reference To create a plane: Click Plane -> Select a reference surface by click on it-> Using mouse drag to move the plane you created/or give the dimension between the new plane (named “DTM1” by default) and the surface ->Done

  3. Using an edge/axis as a reference To create a plane: Click Plane -> Select a reference edge/axis by click on it(The plane passes through the edge/axis) -> select one more reference by using left click (e.g. a surface) -> Give the dimension between the new plane (named “DTM1” by default) and the reference you selected ->Done

  4. Using a point/tip as a reference To create a plane: Click Plane -> Select a reference point/tip by click on it(The plane passes through the point/tip) -> select one more reference by using left click (e.g. a surface) -> Give the dimension between the new plane (named “DTM1” by default) and the reference you selected ->Done

  5. Using an arced surfaceas a reference To create a plane: Click Plane -> Select a reference surface by click on it(The plane passes through the center of the arc by default) -> select one more reference (e.g. another arced surface) by using leftclick + Ctrl -> Create a plane passes through the center positions of both arcs -> Done Select Tangent -> Create a plane that is tangent to the reference surface ->Done

  6. Axis (Datum Axis Tool) Using two planes to create an axis Using one surface to create an axis Using an arced surface to create an axis Using an edge to create an axis

  7. Using two planes To create an axis: Click axis -> Select a reference plane (e.g. “TOP”) -> Select second reference plane (e.g. “RIGHT”) by using leftclick + Ctrl -> Create an axis passes both “TOP” and “RIGHT” planes ->Done

  8. Using one surface To create an axis: Click axis -> Select a reference surface by left click -> Using mouse drag to select two references -> Give the dimensions to the references you selected -> Create an axis perpendicular to the reference surface ->Done

  9. Using one arced surface To create an axis: Click axis -> Select a reference arced surface by left click -> Using mouse drag to select two references -> Give the dimensions to the references you selected -> Create an axis that is through the center of the arc or normal to the arced surface ->Done Note: through & normal options

  10. Using an edge To create an axis: Click axis -> Select a reference edge by left click ->Done

  11. Curve To create a curve: Click Curve -> Select throughpoints -> Done -> Using left mouse key to select the points -> OK -> Done -> OK -> Create a curve passes through all the points you selected. Note: Delete Points & Add Points options Note: Tangent & Normal options
