Intro Tasks Create a “Visual Mind Map” • This should be a ‘spider diagram’ of your potential theme(s), with notes, possible artists and images sourced from magazines/internet – or just photos. Artist Study • Try to come up with an artist you would like to produce your first study from. It does not have to be from these slides, but it should be of a well renowned Artist. It should connect in some way to your potential theme. (At least one of your artists should come from these slides)
Intro Tasks • Bring in £10 for Life Drawing. • Buy your new folder or sketchbook (We are recommending A3 folders or Portrait sketchbooks ) • Create a “Visual Mind Map” / Title page – which explores 1-3 potential topics. (These could also include artists) • Decide on one artist who you would like to produce a study from, as a means of getting started on a potential topic – or – as a style to use in Life Drawings. • Be prepared to present both your Mind Map & your choice of artist to the class on Mon 17th June / Tue 18th June. • You will start your first Artist study that week (Mon 17th)
