  3. Characteristics • Describe the characteristics ( traits) attributed to thisera. Whatisdifferentregarding the previousperiod..Explainwhatinspired the composers and their music in thisperiod • For eg. a fascination with the past, particularly the Middle Ages and legends of medieval chivalry

  4. NON MUSICAL INFLUENCES • Write about important events and changes that happen in society of this period such as ideas, attitudes, discoveries, inventions, and historical events, because they always affect music. ( 1-2 pages)

  5. COMPOSERS & WORKS • Choose between 5 – 7 most important composers of this time period • For each composer describe with few sentences their 1 or 2 masterpieces. • For egg. Tchaikovsky-Swan Lake- It’s a ballet influenced by Russion folk tales.It’s a story of Odette a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse.

  6. INSTRUMENTS • Write which instruments were popular or invented in this musical period. • Add pictures of interesting and not that known instruments.

  7. Resources • Write a list of all material resources used in your presentation( web pages, books, magazines..)
