  2. 1. Review on ILO standard films • Quality of the film is decided the radiograph reading result. • Quality of the films are not the same (grade 1 and 2). • For example: • Most are grade 2, • Some are grade 1.

  3. 2. Quality of Film depends on • Quality of X-ray machine (High voltage and appropriate timing). • X-ray radiation soft or hard • Technique when develop film • Posture of • patient • scapular shadow • back bone shadow • vascular pattern

  4. 3. 4 grades of film quality • Grade 1: Good for reading and classification • Grade 2: Acceptable, but no technical defect to impair classification of the radiograph for pneumoconiosis • Grade 3: Acceptable with some technical defect but still adequate for classification purpose • Grade 4: Unacceptable for classification purpose

  5. 4. Assess ILO standard films • Review 2 0/0 ILO films: Concentrate into • Posture of patient, scapular, back bone • upper ribs, • vascular pattern. • Example 1: • Grade 2. • Example 2: • Grade 2.

  6. 5. Groups review on film 009 JPSG • Reading sheet delivered and filled • Comment. • Group presentation result.

  7. 6. Density measurement • Using densitometer for recognizing quality of the films. • For examples.
