Please turn to page 296-297 • Read together the text under “Series or parallel” • Now turn to page 306-307 – Truth Tables • You are going to carry out a couple of activities and write a truth table for a circuit.
Activity 1: Set up these circuits: Copy these diagrams and write down what you’ve observed and an explanation.
Activity 2: Set up the circuit given to you which includes 2 switches in parallel and a buzzer • Draw a truth table for the circuit • Write an explanation of what the truth table tells you When you are finished, draw a symbol for an AND and OR gate. Write a little explanation under each one to tell us when it would be used.
