  2. Pros • They were wealthy patrons • They were interested in; • Science • Architecture • paintings 4. sculpting • Humanist learning

  3. Cons • They started the first real bloodbath war called Prato • Murder, they murdered all the other powerful families.

  4. The Medici were good and bad. That’s a fact, but they still weren't either one, as some of you might think. I believe they were sort of both. They were bad because they started the 1st bloodbath war, and they murdered all of their competition, in becoming the most powerful family in Florence. The Medici were a good family because they were patrons for Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and a lot more. The Medici were interested in Paintings, sculpting and even architecture. They also were very involved with Humanist learning, which is exactly what Leonardo da Vinci was so keen about to know. In conclusion I believe the Medici were good people but also had a bad side. Without them the Renaissance would have been completely different.
