  2. Name And Description The Name of this fantastic bird is Black Crowned Night-Heron Description: Red eyes, a black beak, they also have pale gray bellies.

  3. Male And Female The difference is that males don’t have a white plume, but females do have the white plume on the back of their head -> This is a male This is a female.

  4. Feeding And Nesting Habits Fish are the top prey for the Black- crowned night-heron. Squid, aquatic insects, frog, snakes, birds, and rodents round out the diet. Young ones breed at a young age of 2 years. They usually nest on islands, or in trees. Like other birds they go in colonies, or mixed with other species.
