Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” 1. As Creator
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses Ps. 33:6-9

Mt. 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” 4. We Must Choose Whom We Will Serve

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Prov. 22:7
One important reason to live on less than you make is so that you can save for the future We must be disciplined in saving for a house, college, retirement, etc. 3. Saving
Saving is the practice of wise stewardship and it also provides for the financial needs that may arise in case of emergencies 3. Saving
A very important part of Christian living and service to God is GIVING! 4. Giving
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. 1 Cor. 16:1-2
Scriptural giving allows for the work of the church to be carried out Evangelism, edification and benevolence 4. Giving

This should be our first concern with all we earn God has always demanded the first fruits of ones increase – not what is left over when other obligations are met 4. Giving
We must adjust our living to our giving Giving to God should be first, then the rest of needs will be met 4. Giving
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mt. 6:33
In financial matters Christians should always use wisdom and caution in decision-making “How we manage the financial aspect of our lives has a direct impact on our families, the church, and our usefulness in God’s service.” Conclusion
