Who Is Jesus? • 11:25 – resurrection and the life • 6:35 – Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst." (cf. 6:51) • 8:12 – Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (cf. 9:5)
Who Is Jesus? • 10:7, 9 – So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep…. I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." • 10:11, 14 –"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep….I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me,"
Who Is Jesus? • 14:6 – Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me." • 15:1, 5 – "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser…. I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Who Is Jesus? • Liar, Lunatic or Lord? • 4:26 – Jesus said to her, "I AM, the one speaking with you." • 6:20 – but he said to them, "I AM; do not be afraid." • 8:24 – "I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I AM."
Who Is Jesus? • 8:28 – So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me." • 8:58 – Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
Who Is Jesus? • 13:19 – "I tell you this now, before it takes place, that when it does take place you may believe that I AM." • 18:5, 6 – They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I AM." Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them. When he said to them, "I AM," they drew back and fell to the ground.
The Raising of Lazarus • God weeps for the pain of this world. • God has a plan for the pain of this world, but it is not ease, evasion or escape. • Jesus ALONE can give life.
