Contaminated Land Working GroupMission • An authoritative voice on issues of land contamination • A forum for exchange of information and experience • An influence for the development of good regulation • A promoter of good practice and high professional standards • A specialist understanding of the interaction between geotechnical and environmental matters in the assessment of land.

  3. Contaminated Land Working GroupMeetings • Four group meetings held in last year • Well-attended (15-20 active participants) • Routine attendance by EA and NHBC • DEFRA and United Utilities have also attended

Contaminated Land Working GroupRepresentation AGSCLWG output includes: • Participation in CIRIA Projects (Asbestos RP961, Barriers for Hazardous Ground Gases RP960)  • Land Forum • Planning Guidance (withdrawal of PPS23) • SiLC representation (Director and member on PTP) • Representing AGS at industry conferences (SAGTA/NHBC, Brownfield Briefing) • C4SL – via The Land Forum/Stakeholder Workshops
