Model Article • (Title)-Traitors Destroyed • --Jan. 23rd, St. Petersberg, Russia –(Date and place) • John Doe-(Author) • Russian Times-(Publication) • --On a cold blistery day in St. Petersburg violent protestors gathered with sticks, stones, and guns demanding more money from the Czar. Soldiers created a protective wall around the Winter Palace in order to protect Czar Nicholas. Rioters were heard chanting “Kill the Czar!” “Kill the Czar”. Soon 200,000 citizens gathered and the anger boiled until it erupted like a volcano. Government officials say a shot was fired from the crowd and mildly injured a soldier. In response the Czar’s men fired several volleys into the crowd wounding protesters and killing multiple people. An eye witness, Ivan Chekov, described the snow as a bed of blood, “the ground look like a bed of blood”. In response to this terrible uprising the Czar Nicholas II will put the military on high alert and stamp out any more protests that may arise.
