  4. C’Mon… WHAT REALLY MATTERS? • Courses Taken –Rigor • Context within School Matters • What is our story? Review our Profile • Grades Received • Upward trend • Senior year is important, too • Do the best you can • Rank • We do not rank but we provide decile on our profile. • SAT/ACT/SAT II Subject Tests • ACT and SAT are DIFFERENT TYPES • April State, April National, June National • Sign Up Early to not be Locked Out • Dialing for Dollars (Scholarship $$)

  5. STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD! What happens when you apply to a college where the majority of applicants are Straight-A students with exceptional test scores? OR…

  6. Late-Bloomer or Test Sensitive What if your transcript or scores are not the best reflection of your abilities? How do you get an Admission Director to give you a chance? How will you “sell” yourself?
