  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Our services this weekend focus on Jesus’ baptism and our own. Through this washing of rebirth God graciously makes us his children and empowers us to live in joy and confidence.

  4. For Our Guests • If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. • If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

  6. Prayer before Worship • Dear Lord, you made me your child through my baptism. Help me remember my baptism on a daily basis, and cherish the blessings that I have received from you.

  7. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  14. Bible Information Class On January 9th at 7:00 pm, Pastor Manke will begin teaching a Bible Information Class titled “Life’s Big Questions”. While mainly intended for the unchurced, St. Peter members are welcome to attend for a review of the main teachings of the Christian faith.
