SCOPE OF SERVICES The department consists of Non Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. • NON INVASIVE LABS & PREVENTIVE CARDIOLOGY • Heart attack is the dreadest complication of coronary artery disease and prevention and early diagnosis of heart disease is imperative to reduce its complications. Asian Heart Centre is equipped with latest technology and equipments to diagnose heart disease early and accurately. It offers multiple preventive heart check ups and comprehensive health checkup programs according to individual person requirement. • Non invasive lab is equipped with latest ECG machines, Philips IE 33 Echocardiography, Trans esophageal Echo, 3D-Echo, Philips cordless TMT, Philips Digital Holters , Stress Thallium & PET-CT scan. • INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY • Asian Heart Centre provides advanced diagnostic tests and treatment for problems as common as a bout of chest pain (Angina), as serious as heart attack (Myocardial Infarction) and also adult congenital heart disease.

Now preferred approach for coronary angiography is radial route which is easy for the patient. • Primary angioplasty for heart attack is being offered 24 x 7 with aim of door to balloon time of 60 minutes. • Complex Angioplasties like chronic total occlusions, Post Bypass graft angioplasties or multivessel angioplasties and angioplasties of bifurcation lesions. • Angioplasties for blockages of brain artery, renal arteries, leg arteries, veins and abdominal arteries are also offered here. • Bioabsorbable vascular scaffold (Absorbable Stent) is the new treatment offered at Asian Cardiac Centre • Interventional treatment for valve stenosis. • Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV) is one of the most popular treatments, besides Valvotomy of other valves. • Pacemaker & device implantations for heart failure.
