BLOGS • A website maintained by an individual • Journal-like features for regular commentary, description of events, audio-visual materials • Displayed in reverse-chronological order • Interactive: ability for readers to leave comments • Photoblog, sketchblog, vlog (video blog), podcast (audio blog), MP3 blog (music blog)

  4. SOCIAL NETWORKING • MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Friendster • Connecting with friends, making new friends • Cater to specific interests, provide various features: blogs, calendars, games, photo and music sharing, widgets • Customizable profile, comments, invitations
