Industrial Sectors Paint • UNTPL has introduced several nano-engineered products for Paint & • Coating industry (both Industrial & Decorative)as follows: • - UN-P10N having application as antimicrobial and • UV protective agent • UN-P20N, UN-P50N offers excellent scratch resistance, • maintaining glossiness and transparency • UN-P30N is a speciality additive to impart excellent • anticorrosive properties in coatings. • - UN-P40N is used in paints to induce magnetism. Leather The growth of fungus on processed leather is a perennial problem in leather industry, more so in humid conditions. UNTPL’s nanosuspension preservative UN-L10N is used in the tanneries during processing to prevent fungus growth on leather. This product gives excellent protection from fungus on leather for months. Textiles UNTPL’s antibacterial product UN-T10N is used in Textile industry to get excellent antibactrial property , hence preventing growth of bacteria causing odor, etc on the fabric.   4. Cosmetics In countries like India, Sunscreen is an important FMCG product exclusively used by most consumers to guard against sunlight. UNTPL’s UN-C10N is an effective active ingredient for sunscreen formulations and is available in paste, powder and aqueous suspensions. The material is non-toxic and extensively blocks UV rays (UV A, B & C). Hygiene UNTPL has successfully launched two highly effective products viz. UN-W10N and UN-W60N for hygiene & wipe industries. They impart long lasting antimicrobial, Nano-fresh properties when used in wet-wipes and other hygiene products. The products are safe and doesn’t have any adverse effect when applied on human skin.   5. Diagnostics UNTPL has developed nanosuspension of UN-D40N and UN-D70N which have application in MRI and Cytoprotection respectively. Rubber UNTPL has introduced UN-R10N. This material has potential application in rubber industries as an activator to activate sulfur vulcanization and thereby reduce the vulcanization time. The enhanced surface area of UN-R10N allows increased interaction with molecules of accelerators, sulfur and fatty acids.
