  4. Jen decided she wanted to open her own salon when she was still in beauty school.

  5. She opened Emblazon Salon in 2008, at the downturn of the economy.

  6. She says she knew she was a good hairdresser, but she knew little about business. Today, the business is debt-free.

  7. Jen features the salon’s work in monthly fashion shoots and runway shows

  9. Jen likes her stylist to be positive, upbeat andnon-judgmental. She loves making people feel better about themselves, …and it’s an artistic outlet
