LARGE AQUA FARMS OF MORE THAN 2 ACRES, NEED INTENSE AERATION • Often aeration system is installed in the periphery • However large farms of more the 2 acres, for species such as Vannamei, need a very efficient aeration system with very small bubbles • Aeration needs to be more uniform without any dark areas with DO low • So aeration only in the corners with a paddle wheel aeration system or with a regular aeration is not sufficient

  3. MORE REASONS WHY INTENSE AERATION IS NEEDED IN LARGE FARMS • Oxygen levels drop at high temperatures in summer/early autumn • This reduces Feed Conversion Efficiency, increases mortality and negatively impacts growth rate

  6. AIRX TUBE TECHNICAL DETAILS.. • Material – EPDM double walled tube • Safe to use with most liquids • Dimensions – Inside diameter – 12 mm. Outside Diameter – 20 mm • Compatible fittings - Fittings of ½” / 16 mm • Standard roll length – 100 mtr • Usage - Compatible for wide range of industrial, commercial, aquaculture in fresh, brackish or salt water, as well as effluent and sewage applications

  7. ..AIRX TUBE TECHNICAL DETAILS • Air Flow – Optimum – 5 LPM / 0.3 m3/hr Maximum – 15 LPM / 0.9 m3/h3 • Holes – Micro holes of 0.2mm, all around periphery and in both inner and outer tubes • Usage length – Flexible and can be made into any grid or shape • Maximum length with single injection of air will depend on depth of installation and air pressure • Due to double wall holes, long lengths are possible with minimum reduction in pressure along the length unlike in single wall diffuser
