The first option we will be using for more fuel efficient delivery trucks will be the new CV-23 trucks • These trucks are made from ABS plastic rather than aluminum making the vehicles up to 1000 lbs lighter allowing for a smaller engine • These new trucks are 40% more fuel efficient so these vehicles get more than 14 miles to the gallon which could save our company around 84 million gallons of fuel a year and this will save our company hundreds of millions of dollars • These trucks can also be reused once they are retired due to the plastic body Transportation OPTION 1
The second option we will use will be the new eStar electric powered delivery trucks • These trucks can travel 100 miles on one charge and can easily be charged overnight and while the car is slowing down and braking or they can be replaced easily while the car is off • The eStar can travel up to 50mph and carry loads of up to 1000 lbs • This truck runs on no gas at all so it can reduce carbon emissions by 10 tons every year • This car will also save Gumshoo Factories hundreds of millions of dollars in the long run because it requires no gas to run on OPTION 2 Transportation
