It is perfect cake for summer. In this article, we will briefly discuss how to make fresh and delicious strawberry cake at your home. Strawberry reduction  In order to get best possible results, you should make strawberry reduction the day before you are ready to make your strawberry cake.  You should place fresh or thawed, frozen strawberries into a medium saucepan  You should heat it on medium to high and add in sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice and salt. You should stir it occasionally to prevent burning.  You should reduce heat to medium to low heat once it start bubbling. You should slowly reduce until strawberries begin to break up and mixture has reduced by about half.  You should stir the mixture to prevent burning.
