Formerly the GCRC. • Purpose: to provide infrastructure support for clinical research. • Part of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) • Access resources and support through the StarBRITE website. www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/starbrite

Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR) • Establish physical and virtual home for translational investigation • Stimulate/streamline communications and remove impediments • Develop a new generation of investigators • Actively develop novel methodologies Gordon Bernard, MD CTSA PI

  13. What can the CRC Provide ? • Pilot funding support • Inpatient and outpatient space and nursing care • Ancillary support for pilot projects

Grant Budget Planning for VICTR / CRC resources • For grant budget planning, if you are submitting an investigator-initiated proposal funded by a federal grant, agency, or foundation, you may assume that the following support is available to you at no cost from the VICTR Clinical Research Center
