I am…. Karl Wingert, HSE Senior! In Mrs. Young’s 2nd period
About what I want for Senior Year • During my senior year, I hope to succeed in my school work and in general for senior year. • To do this, I will get “A”s in English 12, as well as all my other classes
What does a “Senior” Mean? • Being a senior means “the finish line” to me, or the time to finish up smoothly and do well. • By doing this, I will be on track and graduate with a Core 40 Diploma. • Not in a hurry to leave HSE, though! ;(
After High School… • My future plans include becoming a Web Designer. • My college plans are to go to either Ivy Tech or ITT to get a degree majoring in Web Design. • I’ll probably get a job for a year before that though, in order to save money for later.
Thing I would change from High School… • Freshman year: • -Do better in my classes • -
My thoughts on English Class • English class means working on using the English language to a greater ability. • To do this, we read books and attempt to comprehend them, and write essays using vocab students learn in class, thus demonstrating their knowledge of the English language to their grade level. • It’s not so boring when the books are actually interesting.
Me as a Reader • The times that I value reading include: • When it is entertaining, such as the Sunday Comics • When it is adventurous, such as The Green Lantern. • My earliest memory of reading was when I could say “superstition” at age 2. • (“Superstition” referring to the Superstition Mountains of Arizona)
Conclusion… • What I hope you took from this presentation: • -The unique person I am • -
THANK YOU TO…. • The people who designed/took all the pictures used. • Mrs. Young • My classmates
