  2. Defining Grace • Favor, Kindness, Unmerited Favor, a Gift of God • It is the favor of God shown to those who not only are unworthy of forgiveness, but who are thoroughly deserving of death and hell.

  3. Grace Revealed • God’s kindness towards sinners is mentioned MORE in the Old Testament!

  4. Grace Revealed • "The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness" -Ex 34:6

  5. Grace Revealed • "Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him." -Isa 30:18
