  2. Abstract • The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a topic which is becoming so popular in present days. • But the applications developed based on GPS is still emerging. • The main purpose of our products is to reduce that technological gap and build up a globalize community.

  3. GPS Data Logger • In Brief • A system which retrieves performance related data from a GPS tracker, provides a statistical report / graph and display the information on Google Map. • Target Users • Skiers, Coachers, Ski Lovers

GPS Tracker • What makes it significant? • Register on the system using the language you prefer • Prints a receipt of the charge which you need to pay for the rent • Performance calculation based on the experience level • Performance graph of Altitude Vs Speed with respect to time • Efficient use of algorithms for calculations • Your track on Google Maps with following highlighted • Bravest Moment • Speediest Moment • Altitude and Most energetic moment

  6. GPS Tracker • Technology • .NET Framework 2.0 • C#.Net as the programming language • SQL Server 2005 as the database • NHibernate for database mapping • GPS devices supported file types (GPX and KML) • Crystal Reports for reporting

Data Synchronization • Each player has got a GPS device placed on their arm when they run on a track so that the information about the track will be recorded at the device. • Each user can submit the collected GPS data to a KIOSK which is a terminal placed on ski locations • From the KIOSK the central server will be updated only once a day. • Once the data is transferred it is updated into Web server • User account is created on web server • Email is sent to user with a URL in the email to click to log-in where log-in details are included. • The Google earth file is generated (as on the kiosk same process) and emailed to user also embedded as a link to download.

  8. iSnowTrack • In Brief • Majority of existing community sites cater every human user in this universe with common features and services. • In contrast iSnow Track is a project which is specific to a sport where it builds a community of Skiing, Snowboarding, Snow gaming lovers online. • The users will share their data, interests with users having similar interests and talents there by improve their performance to make the environment more competitive.

  9. iSnowTrack • Target Users • Skiers – Families, long established, traditional, style and technique, “posh” reputation, like well groomed mountain, used laid out runs (comparable sport – Dingy Sailing) • Snowboarding – Generally Younger demographic, new, alternative, tricks and off-pieste are key elements, cool image, like fresh snow “powder”, go off-pieste off the roads back-country. (Comparable sport – Kite Surfing) • Resort owners, Ski Suppliers, Sponsors, etc…

You may add way points on any resort or add one to your favorite list. • Tracks • The track data you have added manually or taken from the terminal. • Cosmos • Networks you may create with your friends.

Therefore people start creating groups within the community. • iSnowTrack is something unique and no one to compete with us yet!!!
