  6. For your information • To allow a person immediate access to the Campus Police Department during emergencies, William Paterson University provides the members of its community and its guests with 61 “Blue Light Emergency Stations”.

  8. What happens next? The blue light is activated to call attention to the area. The dispatcher sends help immediately.

  9. Is my cell phone better? Not necessarily. The dispatcher knows exactly where you are when you use a blue light.

  10. EMERGENCY USE ONLY emergencies include medical injuries, disturbance of the peace, traffic difficulties, disabled vehicles, and crimes in progress.

  11. Remember Knowing what to do in an emergency may save someone’s life.

  12. Please ponder this idea. We can not control when emergencies occur, but we can control how we respond.
