  2. Mangal Dosha, also known as Boom Dosha or Angarika Dosha, is a planetary combination that is considered to be inauspicious in Vedic Astrology. It is considered to be inauspicious for marriage. It occurs when Mars, the planet of energy and action, is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of the bride or groom's birth chart. This combination is believed to cause problems in the native's life, especially with respect to marriage and health. There are three types of Mangal Dosha - Anshik, Shashtasha, and Visha. The severity of the Dosha depends on the placement of Mars in the birth chart as well as on the strength of Mars. Mangal Dosha is considered to be more severe if Mars is placed in the 2nd, 7th, or 8th house and if it is weak or afflicted.

  3. Anshik Mangal Dosha is the most severe form of Mangal Dosha and it occurs when Mars is in close conjunction with Rahu or Ketu. Shashtasha Mangal Dosha occurs when Mars is aspected by Rahu or Ketu. Visha Mangal Dosha occurs when Mars is placed in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house from the Lagna (Ascendant). The effects of Mangal Dosha can vary depending on its type and intensity. In general, Mangal Dosha can cause problems in health, wealth, and relationships. It can also lead to delays and obstacles in a marriage. However, not everyone with Mangal Dosha will experience these negative effects. Some people with strong and well-placed Mars will actually benefit from the energies of this planet.
