  2. Man is a Thinking, Rational Being • My father used to say: “Son, use your head! Stop and think!” • God made us to think (Gen. 1:26-27) • Sober thinking is required (Rom. 12:1-3) • Right thinking is required (Phil. 4:8) • Is God in your thoughts (Psa. 10:4-11)?

  3. Some Don’t Think Right • Evil thinking (Mt. 9:4) • Warped thinking (Jn. 16:2) • Over-confident thinking (1 Cor. 10:12) • Deceived thinking (Gal. 6:3; Jas. 1:26)

  4. Others Don’t Think At All • Childhood – too undisciplined (Prov. 29:15) • Youth – too care-free (Eccl. 11:9 – 12:1) • Adulthood – too busy (Lk. 10:40; 12:16-21) • Prime of life – too worried (Mt. 6:25) • Old age – too weak (1 K. 11:4) • Deathbed – too late (Lk. 16:25-26)

  5. Stop and Think! • How is your thinking toward God (Lk. 12:40)? • Don’t put off thinking about him today!
