  2. About Akhilesh Das Gupta Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta is a dynamic leader.Akhilesh Das Gupta BSP joined the Bahujan Samaj Party and elected its National General Secretary on 10th May 2008. On 26th November 2008, he was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha (Third Term).

His father was a freedom fighter and underwent imprisonment during British rule for 5 years. He also held important political positions. Just like his father

  4. Akhilesh Das Gupta BSP Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta decided to make his mark in public life in his own right with self-less services. In 1993, he had been the Mayor of Lucknow. He was also the Secretary of the Congress in May 2003. Akhilesh Das Gupta BSP joined the Bahujan Samaj Party and elected its National General Secretary on 10th May 2008. On 26th November 2008, he was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha (Third Term).

  5. Education Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta is a dynamic leader. He has specialized post-qualifications in Law, Public Administration, Management and a Doctorate (in Business Administration). He carries extensive experience as the Mayor of Lucknow and later as a Union Minister of Government of India. He has been a member of the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce since January 2009.
