PPM Benchmarking in Brief • Carriers monthly data submitted to Reconciliation partner for reconciliation and consolidation. Consolidated data is sent for Benchmarking. • Performance Indicators : • % On Time Provisioning • Standard Lead Time • % Circuit Restoration less than 1 hour • Average Fault Rate • Downtime • MTRS (Mean Time to Restore Services) • Benchmark individual partner against it’s own previous performance improvement yearly set at 50% and monthly gradual increment improvement. • Benchmark presents: • = Met target set • = Within 20% of target • = Beyond 20% missing the target • Benchmark partners against group performance tabulated and charted.
Recommendations • Beyond 20% of missing the target had increased for all the key indicators. This is alarming • Partners need to improve on speed of restoration <1hr. If we continue to fail the one-hour target for the next two quarters, we need find the reason for next target review: • Continual improvement in terms of SLA/OLA renewal amongst partners • All Partners are requested to send their data on time for collation by the task group
